Maycee lost her last fight after she was defeated by a an unanimous decision in UFC 258 against Alexa Grasso. Barber was able to defeat Miranda Maverick in UFC on ESPN Sandhagen Vs. Dillashaw by split decision. Barber defeated Montana De La Rosa by unanimous verdict at UFC Fight Night 205 held on April 23,2022. Barber went on to replace Casey O'Neill and fight Jessica Eye in UFC 276 in July 2022. It was won by unanimous decision. Barber's contract was terminated by UFC following the fight however, Barber signed a new contract in subsequent years. Barber triumphed in her most recent bout with Andrea Lee, on March 25th 2023. The bout was held at UFC Fight Night Vera and Sandhagen.
