Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born into a musical household on August 9, 1963, in Newark New Jersey the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston (nee Emily Lee Drinkard) and John Russell Houston Jr. and the cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. In Newark Whitney started singing with the church choir in the early years of her childhood. At the age 15 she joined her mom in singing background vocals on Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. The backing vocalists were Lou Rawls, Jermaine jackson and her mom. The quality of her work as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material was noticed by big record labels like Arista, with which she was signed in 1982, and continued to work with them for the rest of her career. The first Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It would become one of the top-selling album by a musician. Several hit singles including the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Can I Tell You If That You Love Me as well as The greatest Love of All were released from the album, setting her up to smash the Beatles record with seven consecutive US numbers one. Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she's more popularly known, is an American journalist and political analyst at CNN. The anchor also hosts a few show on weekends for the channel, such as Evans & Novak Late Edition and Inside Politics. She's worked at other renowned networks in recent times including NBC and CBS. Bash was awarded a Women in Washington Power List award by Elle magazine. She's known to possess amazing anchoring and reporting skills, and is highly regarded by younger journalists. Also, she's a devoted mother of her son, even though she graduated from George Washington University. The single woman was married twice. Bash she is strong and independent loves her admirers with all her heart. That's why she is an American journalist has a presence on the social networking sites Instagram and Twitter which keeps her followers updated about the events within her personal life.
